Section 1.2 Using 3D Glasses

To turn on/off the 3D Glasses Mode, click the small toolbar button with an image of 3D glasses on it.

The plot should now appear to have overlapping red and cyan shadows, as shown in the figure below. You should wear the 3D glasses so the red lens is on the left and the cyan lens is on the right.

There are a variety of 3D viewing modes you can experiment with in CalcPlot3D. These are found in the 3D Options submenu of the Main menu in CalcPlot3D. For more details on the other options see the help page in Section 4.4 for this submenu.
