Section 4.2 Scripts menu¶
When a script is not yet loaded or created in CalcPlot3D, most of the script menu options are greyed out.
But once a script has been loaded or created, all script options are available.
Subsection 4.2.1 Load a script
This menu option allows you to load any script created using CalcPlot3D from your local filesystem.
Subsection 4.2.2 Create new script with current plot as 1st step
This option allows you to create a new script with the current view in the 3D plot of CalcPlot3D as the first step.
You will be asked for the script name. This script name will be used as the filename when you save this script using the Save script option described below.
Subsection 4.2.3 Add current view to active script
This option just adds the current view in CalcPlot3D to the active script in CalcPlot3D. If there is no active script in CalcPlot3D, then this option should be greyed out as unavailable.
Subsection 4.2.4 Delete a step in the active script
This option allows you to delete any step in the active script in CalcPlot3D. If there is no active script in CalcPlot3D, then this option should be greyed out as unavailable.
Subsection 4.2.5 Save script
Once you have created a script or loaded one into the app, you can save it to your computer using this option. In fact, if you don't save it using this option, you will lose any steps you have added to the script when you close the exploration, reset the app, close the app, or close the browser.
You will be asked for a filename and then the script should be downloaded to your computer using the default download behavior of your browser.
Any scripts that you save in this way can then be loaded back into CalcPlot3D using the Load a script menu option described above.
