Professor Vogt to Participate in STEM Webinar on June 18

Dr. Alexis Vogt, professor of Optical Systems Technology, will participate in a panel discussion for the Department of Education STEM Webinar: Advanced Manufacturing: Jobs of the Future, on Friday, June 18th, from 12noon-1:30PM. Her discussion topic supports MCC’s DEEP OPS program and the need for skilled technicians in advanced manufacturing jobs. Other panelists include: DoD STEM’s Manufacturing Engineering Education Program (MEEP) partner NEXTFLEX; OSD ManTech; NSWC Carderock; and several Department of Education representatives.
