Downtown Campus, Eastman Business Park within NYS Orange Warning Zones

Faculty, staff and students must test negative for COVID-19 before returning to those locations

Orange Warning Zone restrictions will go into effect for MCC's Downtown Campus and Eastman Business Park (skilled trades apprenticeship-related programs) tomorrow, Nov. 26. Unless you are deemed as essential staff by your President's Cabinet representative, do not report to those locations until you have tested negative for COVID-19.

Faculty and staff who are assigned to work at those locations must participate in pooled testing sessions 9:00 a.m-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1 or Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the Brighton Campus. (No appointment necessary; instructions). Faculty and staff also have the option of being tested at another provider (e.g., NYS drive-through testing site) and submitting test results to Human Resources Director Kristin Lowe (klowe5@monroecc.edu).

The Applied Technologies Center and Brighton Campus are located within Yellow Precautionary Zones and will be accessible for returning faculty, staff and students beginning Monday, Nov. 30.

MCC Health Services and Public Safety managers are exploring other testing options for faculty, staff and students impacted by the restrictions. Directives for students and additional details will be shared with you as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience.
