5K Teams Raise Support for Scholarships; Find One That is Right for You!

MCC faculty and staff are leading teams for the virtual 5K Walk/Run for Scholarships and raising funds to support scholarships at the College.

The MCC Global team is raising funds to create a scholarship for ESOL Program students. Since the team first participated in the 5K in 2016, they have raised $7,500 toward their goal of $10,000. Led by team captain Pam Fornieri, they hope to reach their goal by raising $2,500 at this year's virtual event taking place on October 3 and 4.

Please consider supporting the MCC Global team, one of the teams listed below or any one of the many teams found on the 5K Walk/Run for Scholarships website.

  • Owen's Red Racers, raising funds for the Owen Schwartz Memorial Scholarship
  • Lap for Linda, raising support for the Linda Curran '79 Memorial Student Aide Scholarship Fund
  • Retirees Unlimited, raising funds for the Experiential Learning Scholarship in memory of Bill Sigismond
  • The CIS Flash, seeking donations to the Computer Information Systems Scholarship
