Take a Brain Break Week- Day Four

What's in store for today's brain break? It's time to show off your adorable pets, kids, grandkids, plants... we want to see them all on our social media pages! (Facebook , Instagram & Twitter) If you don't have any of those, you can "ooooo!" and "ahhhhh!" over the pics shared there.

According to the National Institutes of Health, "Interacting with animals has been shown to decrease levels of cortisol (a stress-related hormone) and lower blood pressure. Other studies have found that animals can reduce loneliness, increase feelings of social support, and boost your mood."  Visit our Take a Brain Break Week guide for stress management resources and memories of the times that our friends from Therapy Dogs International visited the libary.

*Bonus Brain Break*- Join Donna Burke's special meditation session live via Zoom from the Brighton Campus Library at 12:00 today.  See attached for the link.

It's almost Friday-- join us tomorrow as we relax with some games!
