TCC: Join us TODAY, Wed., Nov. 12, for a Conversation on Belonging at MCC

Join us today at noon for Becoming Ourselves Here: A Conversation on Belonging at MCC, which will feature Jordan Miller (AHPS), Julie Babulski (BIO), Jodi Oriel (Student Life and Leadership Development), Nasim Sarvaiya (Human Services), and Toni Custodio (Facilities). Each panelist will share how they came to feel woven into the fabric of this institution—how they found connection, purpose, and a sense of belonging here. As we listen to their stories, we’ll also reflect on what helps each of us become more tightly knit into that fabric and how we can help new and longtime colleagues alike feel that they also have a place.

Panelists are:

All faculty and staff are welcome!

The event is designed to meet the following goals of the Teaching and Creativity Center's programming:

  • Goal 1: Create a culture of critical reflection, continual growth, and collaboration for faculty at all stages of professional growth
  • Goal 2: Promote evidence-based, high-impact, innovative course design and teaching strategies that improve student outcomes
  • Goal 3: Facilitate faculty inquiry into the study of teaching & learning with an equity lens
