HGHRP: Weekly Fundraiser for MECA
- Monday, November 17th, 11 am to 1 pm, Brighton Campus Terrace
HGHRP will be collecting donations for the Middle East Children’s Alliance Foundation, a nonprofit organization working for the rights and well-being of children in the Middle East.
PTK Resource Hub Fair
- Monday, November 17th, 12 pm to 1 pm, Brighton Campus Terrace
Learn about access to the campus food pantry and meal support resources. Connect with MCC’s Homeless Liaisons for guidance on housing stability and emergency resources. Meet with campus wellness staff and explore mental health support services. Discover MCC Assist, SNAP information, and financial support resources available to students.
Student Government Association Senate Meeting

Thankful for the Queens – History of Drag

Join HGHRP and Pride Alliance to learn about the history of drag before their big event on 11/19 – Drag Bingo!

Join the Pride Alliance, The Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project, and Title IX for Drag Bingo! There will be pizza and soda to enjoy as well!
Gratitude Festival/Turkey Giveaway at the Downtown Campus
- Wednesday, November 19th, 11 am to 1 pm, Downtown Campus Multipurpose Room
The Downtown Campus is hosting an incredible Gratitude Fest/Turkey Giveaway. There will be food and resources available to all. Global Union is also sponsoring an African Cultural Arts International Musician!

Campus Activities Board and Global Union are coming together to celebrate the season and will have Thanksgiving crafts and lots of sweets and treats! Join Global Union on the Terrace from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm to enjoy the music of an Indonesian Gamelan Musician and participate in a drum circle!
Cabbages & Kings and HGHRP Open Mic!

Come to this Open Mic with Cabbages & Kings and the Holocaust, Genocide, Human Rights Project to give students a space to share their thoughts and/or artwork relating to politics and human rights, and help them feel seen in that way.

- $ave Around Coupon Books: They’re back! MCC’s Travel Club is selling $ave Around coupon books to help support educational opportunities. Coupon books are on sale now for $25 through December 23rd.
- Thanksgiving Pies: Hospitality Club is making and selling delicious pies to fundraise for their club. Orders must be in by 3 pm on Thursday, November 20th. $10 for pumpkin, $12 for apple, $15 for pecan. Email Tiana Carey (tcarey6@student.monroecc.edu) to place your order. Pick up your pie 11/24 or 11/25 from 10 am to 3 pm at Food for Thought
- Vote for Your MCC Champion: Recognize a member of the MCC Community for all of the work they have done. Vote now.
- DWIGHT Winter Accessories Drive: The Travel Club is collecting winter scarves, globes, mittens and hats for DWIGHT from November 1-November 30. Clothes must be brand new with tags. Collection boxes are outside of Food for Thought 3-146 and the Hospitality Management Office 3-155.
- Phi Theta Kappa Food Drive – A food drive benefiting the DWIGHT Food Pantry will be hosted by PTK as part of the Regional Service Initiative. The collection period will begin on November 10 and continue through December 12.
- MCC Art Faculty Exhibition: There will be an Artist Lecture Exhibition in the Mercer Gallery that will be from November 14-December 13.
