If you are an MCC student or employee and plan to come to the Applied Technologies Center, Brighton Campus or Downtown Campus in January, you are required to participate in pooled COVID-19 testing* on Wednesday, Jan. 13. Appointments are not necessary. Pooled testing will be conducted on a walk-in basis from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe A & B) on the Brighton Campus.
* You may also present verification of a negative COVID test from an alternate testing site to email@example.com if you are a student or to Kristin Lowe (firstname.lastname@example.org) in Human Resources if you are an employee. If you live on campus, please follow the specific protocols provided by the Office of Housing and Residence Life.
If you test positive for COVID-19, you must:
- Immediately contact MCC Health Services at (585) 292-2018 or email@example.com. Your name and personal information will remain confidential.
If you traveled outside New York state within the past two weeks, you must:
- Follow state-mandated travel protocols on COVID-19 testing and quarantine/isolation.
Students who violate health protocols and quarantine or isolation orders are subject to conduct charges through the Monroe Community College Student Code of Conduct and sanctions as outlined in the SUNY Sanctions in Response to COVID-19 Violations.
Your participation in COVID-19 testing--along with remaining vigilant about mask-wearing, social distancing and hand-washing--helps prevent the spread of COVID-19 on campus and in the community. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
