01/25/2021
Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe A/B)
03:30 pm - 05:30 pm

Weekly mandatory testing will ensure you, your family and our community stay safe and healthy during your spring semester studies at MCC. We know that one or two infected people entering a community can be enough to spark a major surge in cases.

All students. faciulty and staff who plan to come to the Applied Technologies Center, the Brighton and/or the Downtown Campus -- for any reason during the spring semester -- are required to participate in COVID-19 pooled (saliva) testing* on Monday, Jan. 25 or Tuesday, Jan. 26. (No appointments necessary.) Please remember to register on the SUNY Upstate Medical University site and follow the preparation directions. You must also complete a daily self-assessment to gain entry to the Brighton Campus.

Pooled testing will be conducted on a walk-in basis in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe A & B) on the Brighton Campus on the following dates and times:

  • Monday, January 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Monday, January 25 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, January 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

* You may also present verification of a negative COVID test from an alternate testing site to studentrights@monroecc.edu.

If you live on campus, please follow the specific protocols provided by the Office of Housing and Residence Life.

Details of MCC's health and safety protocols are available at www.monroecc.edu/coronavirus.

If you test positive for COVID-19, you must:

If you traveled outside New York state within the past two weeks, you must:

  • Follow state-mandated travel protocols on COVID-19 testing and quarantine/isolation.

Students who violate health protocols and quarantine or isolation orders are subject to conduct charges through the Monroe Community College Student Code of Conduct and sanctions as outlined in the SUNY Sanctions in Response to COVID-19 Violations.

Your participation in COVID-19 testing--along with remaining vigilant about mask-wearing, social distancing and hand-washing--helps prevent the spread of COVID-19 on campus and in the community. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at covid19response@monroecc.edu.
