Black History Month Planning Committee Hosting Two Presentations & Celebrations

The Creative Arts Committee, along with Black History Month Planning Committee (PRISM Multicultural Center, Campus Events, will have two presentations and celebrations running between the hours of 11:30am to 2:00pm and 5:30pm to 8:00pm on February 12th, 2025. Special Guest speakers will be addressing Black History Month from an array of social subject matters. 

  • Presenter Bessie Lorenzo will focus on religion during Black History Month at 12:00pm
  • Clianda Florence will focus on literacy at 12:30pm
  • Betty Reynolds looks into industry at 1:00pm
  • Odell Buggs addresses activism during this month at 1:30pm
  • Lovely Ann Warren addresses perspectives through the law at 6:30pm
  • Paula Howard focuses on business today at 7:00pm

Music will be provided by Tyler Owens.

This event will be held in the MCC Forum (Room 3-130). This event is free and open to the public.
