On Wednesday, March 1, from 12-12:50, poet Yerra Sugarman will read poems from her most recent book, Aunt Bird, a moving literary reclamation of her mother’s sister, Feiga, whose life was extinguished in 1943 by Nazis in the Krakow ghetto. A question-answer session will follow the reading. This event, which is free and open to the public, is co-sponsored by the Creative Arts Committee and the Holocaust Genocide Human Rights Project.
