Suhail Vawda
Born in Barberton, a small town in Mpumalanga, South Africa, Suhail grew up in Johannesburg. He obtained his BA in Law in 2018, LL.B. (equivalent of J.D.) in 2020, and LL.M. in Labour law with Distinction in 2021 from the University of Johannesburg. Suhail is currently a Visiting Researcher at Cornell Law School, January-June 2023 and a Graduate Fellow with Cornell’s Institute for African Development 2022-2023 while he completes his 2nd LL.M. with a focus on International and African issues. Suhail is also the author of Herodotus: The Man Who Made History by Making History, 2021. He is currently working with the Institute for African Development to release a new publication entitled, Introducing Africa to the West.
