This is a webinar event.
12:00 pm - 01:30 pm

The Division of Academic Services, in collaboration with the Office of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accountability (IDEA) and the Office of the President, invites the College community to a Zoom keynote lecture by Dr. Eddie Moore, Jr., on Friday, September 18, 2020, from 12:00 – 1:30 PM. Dr. Moore, Jr., is recognized as one of the nation’s top motivational speakers and educators, especially for his work with students. He is the Founder and Program Director for the White Privilege Conference. Under his direction and inclusive relationship model, this conference has become one of the top national and international conferences for participants who want to move beyond dialogue and into action around issues of diversity, power, privilege and leadership.

Dr. Moore’s talk, titled “America Is Changing: Are You Ready?,” will challenge participants to examine their own biases, behaviors and belief systems as they relate to diversity, race, equity, education and privilege. Additionally, they will be better informed and equipped to take action against prejudice, racism, microaggressions, supremacy and oppression. We need more antiracist allies and leaders within higher education. Are You Ready? #GoodTrouble

Space is limited. We will record this event and interpreter services will be provided.  Please use the UPDATED link below to join:
