WMCC is hosting a NARCAN training event:
- Wednesday, Nov. 29
- 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
- Monroe A in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center, Brighton Campus
There have been almost 2,500 opioid overdoses in Monroe County this year.* An opioid overdose is reversible through the timely administration of the drug naloxone. In this training, provided by Trillium Health, you will learn how to identify an opioid overdose and the proper administration of NARCAN nasal spray. At the completion of the one-hour training, you will receive a free NARCAN kit that could save someone's life.
Seating is limited. Reservations are not required, but strongly encouraged. Email Tamara Hillabush Walker (twalker@monroecc.edu) to save your seat.
