Congratulations to MCC's Newest Certified Toyota Technicians.

On Thursday May 23rd, 2019, the Monroe Community College Toyota Technician Training and Education Network (T-TEN) students were recognized for concluding their automotive classes. Each student completed a rigorous course of study consisting of 1290 hours of automotive technology laboratory training, and well over 640 hours of co-operative work experience. The students earned manufacturer certifications for all major automotive service systems.

Students also participated in the Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification process. ASE sets a demanding industry standard for professional technician certification. Collectively, the students earned thirty-two ASE certifications in the following systems: A1 Engine Repair, A2 Automatic Transmissions, A3 Manual Transmissions and Drivetrains, A4 Steering and Suspension, A5 Brakes, A6 Electrical and Electronic Systems, A7 Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, and A8 Engine Performance.
