Both EDU 200 and 208 must be completed to earn credit for EDU 105 and 106
at Fredonia.
*Beginning Fall 2015 a minimum cumulative gpa of 3.0 will be required
by Fredonia. A minimum grade of B for EDU 200 and 208 and PSY 202 will
also be required beginning Fall 2015.
NOTE: Students who have met 7/10/30
SUNY General Education courses as indicated on their GETA will have satisfied
Fredonia Foundations General Education Requirement.
NOTE: Beginning Fall 2021,students
may apply a maximum of 60 transfer credits at the lower division (Fredonia
equivalent courses at the 100/200 level towards their baccalaureate degree).
Students may apply an additional 15 credits at the upper division (Fredonia

Average: In order to be fully admitted into any Initial Teacher Education
Program, students must meet the following requirements: Minimum cumulative
GPA of 3.0. Proof of completion of SAT, ACT, or GRE. The equivalent of
EDU 105 and 106 (MCC EDU 200 and 208) Introduction to Contemporary Inclusive
Education - with a grade of B or above . The equivalent of EDU 224 (MCC
PSY 202) Adolescent Development – with a grade of B or above .
NOTE: If equivalent coursework or proof of SAT, ACT or GRE is not completed,
students may be admitted to their programs conditionally. All conditions
must be met at the conclusion of their first semester at Fredonia.

The Liberal Arts & Sciences: Adolescence Education (Teacher Education
Transfer) A.A. (EA01) will be the degree student is audited against &
awarded from MCC.
