NOTE: Students need to complete a minimum of 60 credit hours of liberal arts hours. When choosing electives, be sure to take courses that fulfill liberal arts hours. Contact MCC or Fisher advisor for more details. 
NOTE: Upon official acceptance to the College, students must apply to the Wegman's School of Nursing to pursue the professional component (clinical). Students will be directed to the online clinical application upon official acceptance to St. John Fisher. The clinical application, along with supporting documentation, must be submitted by March 1st deadline for fall (September start) applicant; July 1 clinical application deadline for spring (January start) applicant.
NOTE: Nursing prerequisite courses; BIO 117 or 217, BIO 144, 145, 202; CHE 124 or 151; MTH 160; PSY 212; Students admitted to the junior clinical year must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.4 for the combined seven nursing prerequisite courses (calculated on all attempts at all colleges). In addition, a grade of 'C' or higher is required in each prerequisite course.

NOTE: AP, IB, CLEP, HIGH SCHOOL DUAL CREDIT COURSES, ONLINE COURSES: Credits showing as accepted at MCC may not be transferable. Students should meet with a representative of the four year college or the MCC Advisement and Transfer Services to determine if those credits are transferable.
NOTE: Two courses of a 200 level are required for the MCC LA04 degree and must be met for graduation. Make sure you choose two 200 level courses.

2.75 cumulative GPA and a prerequisite minimum cumulative GPA of 2.4 required for continuation at St. John Fisher Nursing major.

Requirements for all St. John Fisher 2+2 Programs: Matriculated, Continuous, Full Time Enrollment (12 or more credit hours)
The Liberal Arts A.S. (LA04) will be the degree student is audited against and awarded from MCC.
