Select courses from your chosen Major to fulfill SUNY Electives, MCC Electives and Open Electives first. If additional courses are needed, then choose from the SUNY, MCC and St. John Fisher lists above.


NOTE: Required by St. John Fisher students taking a B.A. degree major: BA degree candidates need to show language proficiency.Students can fulfill the requirement by either having transfer credit for language at the 112 level at Fisher (102 level at MCC), taking course(s) at Fisher to complete at the 112 level or by taking a language proficiency test through the department of Modern Languages at Fisher that demonstrates proficiency at the 112 level. The proficiency test does not result in academic credit, as this is not a credit requirement. Transfer coursework will result in academic credit. Advanced Placement (AP) scores of 4 and above and International Baccalaureate scores of 5 and above are accepted as fulfilling the foreign language requirement. ASL courses are acceptable for a foreign language sequence.

NOTE: AP, IB, CLEP, HIGH SCHOOL DUAL CREDIT COURSES, ONLINE COURSES:
Credits showing as accepted at MCC may not be transferable. Students should meet with a representative of the four year college or the MCC Advisement and Transfer Services to determine if those credits are transferable.

NOTE: Two courses of a 200 level are required and must be met for MCC graduation. Make sure you choose two 200 level courses.

Requirements for all St. John Fisher 2+2 Programs:
Matriculated, Continuous, Full Time Enrollment (12 or more credit hours)
The Liberal Arts A.S. (LA04) will be the degree student is audited against and awarded from MCC.
