*A minimum grade of C is necessary in all required nursing courses for continued matriculation in the program.

#Grades for BIO 143, 144, 145, and 202 must be no more than seven years old for the grade to be considered when the applicant is accepted for admission into the nursing program.

## MTH requirement must be fulfilled prior to beginning NUR 112 course. Eligibility to take the math requirement for the Nursing program during the first semester may make it necessary to plan for additional math courses prior to admission. Please speak to an advisor to discuss an appropriate sequence. LPNs seeking admission with advanced standing must have already completed the MTH requirement at time of admission.

Liberal Arts qualification can be verified by viewing the SJFC Transfer Course Equivalency Database. For example, CHE 100 and HED courses (except for 115) will not count as Liberal Arts courses. Make sure to choose what SJFC approves as liberal arts courses for your electives. Good choices include: HED 115, any HEG, SOC 101, MTH 104, humanities, social sciences, math, natural sciences, foreign languages.

St. John Fisher University accepts up to 90 credits in transfer for this program.

The MCC Nursing program must be completed within five years of matriculation.

A grade of 'C' required in all Nursing courses for continued matriculation. No student may progress to the next nursing course level without successful completion of all courses in previous level.

A student who fails to achieve a 'C' in the fourth semester Nursing course will be ineligible for graduation.

AP, IB, CLEP, Dual Enrollment, & Transfer courses: Credits showing as accepted by MCC may not be transferable. See: Credit Transfer Policies. Contact St. John Fisher University with questions.

2.0 cumulative GPA is required for acceptance. RN license required prior to completing first semester at Fisher.

Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher is required for MCC graduation.

The Nursing A.A.S. (NU01) will be the degree student is audited against and awarded from MCC.
