Welcome to the start of something amazing! Your journey at MCC begins with Orientation—a fun, interactive experience designed for new students. Whether you're coming straight from high school, transferring from another college, returning to MCC, or starting fresh as an adult learner, Orientation is your chance to get connected, confident, and excited! You’ll discover everything you need to know about life at MCC, meet fellow students, and walk away with the tools to thrive from day one.

  • Explore your new campus, from classrooms and libraries to dining halls and student service offices.
  • Connect with fellow new students, Peer Navigators, faculty, and staff.
  • Discover financial aid options that can help pay for college.
  • Get comfortable navigating MCC’s technology resources.
  • Learn the ins and outs of MCC’s policies, procedures, and student expectations.
  • Pick up your official MCC Student ID card.
  • Dive into student life through clubs, activities, and the First Year Experience program.
  • Visit the Bookstore to meet the team and order your textbooks. 

Traditional Student Orientation

For students who graduated from high school within the past three years.
*Includes a Family/Parent Session as part of the program. 

Adult Learner & Transfer Student Orientation

For adult learners, returning students, and those transferring to MCC from another college.
*Dinner will be provided.
