Rochester AmeriCorps is recruiting members for the 2025-26 service term and we are looking for applications from qualified and motivated people like you!
Our education-focused program is seeking candidates interested in working with City youth to support improved academic outcomes and preparation for, and success in, higher education.
Members will serve in nonprofits, schools, and pre-collegiate programs and will engage in activities like mentoring, providing academic supports, tutoring (1:1 or small groups), providing college/career preparation services, coordinating program and community events, chaperoning college tours and conducting outreach to parents and students of the Rochester community. Members will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students, staff, families, and fellow Rochester AmeriCorps members to contribute to a positive and thriving community.
