Learning is noisy, active, and messy. That’s why we encourage the children in our care to explore the outdoors, play in the gym,
and head out on supervised field trips. It’s all part of our mission to help your child thrive.
The Richard M. Guon Child Care Center has been certified by the National Association
for the Education of Young Children.
The Richard M. Guon Child Care Center’s General Advisory Board brings together
members of the MCC and local community to support the center’s mission and continued
growth.
Our Mission
The Child Care Center is a department of the MCC Association, Inc. Our professional staff provides quality Early Care and Education to MCC students,
faculty, staff, and community. We promote success in their academic and/or career
endeavors by reassuring parents that their children are in a nurturing, secure environment,
which is developmentally stimulating. We also serve as a benchmark for quality in
our community and a lab school for various academic departments on the MCC Campus.
Our center offers full-time, part-time, and evening options. Daytime care is available for children from two months to age five, and evening care
is available for children from 18 months to age five. Start by exploring our curriculum to see what fits your child’s age and your schedule.
Most families begin by adding their child to our waiting list. Availability varies
by age and program, so we encourage you to join early.

Now Open Until 9:30 p.m.
The Richard M. Guon Child Care Center at MCC now offers evening child care until 9:30 p.m. A healthy dinner is provided along with an engaging, fun, and educational curriculum. Children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years are eligible, and grant funding may be available to cover expenses.
