College Now helps you explore subjects, build confidence, and prepare for college
expectations early. You’ll experience college-style grading, feedback, and responsibility—while still having
the support of your high school environment.
College Now lets you take college-level courses right at your high school or BOCES
site. You’ll learn from certified high school teachers who work closely with MCC professors. And
all courses are held during regular school hours. You earn both high school credit
and official State University of New York (SUNY) college credit at the same time—without
commuting to an MCC campus.
We currently offer a wide variety of college-level courses in areas like business,
law, engineering, health, languages, and more. Dive into topics that you’re passionate about or try a subject you’re curious about. Or, take SUNY general education courses so you can jump right into your major when you
start college.
Earn Real College Credit
College Now courses are taught by certified high school teachers who work closely
with MCC faculty. When you complete a course, you receive an official MCC grade that
appears on your MCC transcript. You can use your college credit to continue at MCC.
That transcript is yours to keep—and requesting it when you’re ready to transfer is simple and free.

MCC’s College Now program is accredited by the esteemed National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP). NACEP's rigorous standards ensure that the college courses taught by high school
teachers are on par with those offered on the college campus. As the sole accrediting
body for concurrent enrollment partnerships, NACEP facilitates a seamless transition
to college for students while providing valuable professional development opportunities
for teachers.
