Faculty Resources
Disability Services is the designated department responsible for maintaining disability-related documentation, certifying eligibility for receipt of services, determining academic adjustments, and ensuring the provision of those services.
Faculty Notification
Disability Services will inform faculty of students’ approved accommodations each semester via email. The purpose of the email is to provide faculty with notification of qualified students under federal/state laws as a person with a disability and their approved accommodations who are enrolled in their course(s) for the current term. Faculty are not expected to implement accommodations until the student initiates the implementation of their approved accommodations.
To access information about academic accommodation descriptions, legal mandates, FAQs, Universal Design for Learning, etc., refer to the Faculty Resource Guide for Supporting Students with Disabilities on MyMCC.
