Parking and Transportation at Monroe Community College

Enrolling and discovering where your classes are held is of the utmost importance, but so is understanding how to register a vehicle, where to park at each campus, or navigating the Rochester bus transportation system.

Parking at Brighton Campus

Commuters, residence halls, and on-line students have options when it comes to parking at the Brighton Campus. And to make things easier for students, parking registration is a paperless system. Simply follow the instructions for your specific needs, whether you live on campus, attend in-person, or are enrolled in online classes but need to go to campus on occasion.

Commuter Parking Information

Parking registration for commuters will be available online on your MCC parking account within 24 hours after you have registered for your classes. Your license plate number and completion of your parking registration will serve as your "virtual permit" with the College.

Commuter students are required to register their vehicles(s) each semester before the enforcement date listed on the entrance to student lots. To continue parking in Brighton, please register online.

A map of the Brighton Campus parking is also available for students so you know exactly where to go.

Parking Information for Online Students

Attending classes online is only one of the benefits that MCC has to offer. But there may come a time when you need to drive to the campus.

MCC offers daily parking permits online in your MCC parking account. If you need to be on campus multiple days, daily permits must be purchased. Parking is also available at meters located on Arts Lane and in Lot E.

Residence Hall Students

Students living in residence halls can find their parking registration information online in their MCC parking account within 24 hours after registering for classes. The vehicle’s license plate number and completion of the parking registration will serve as your "virtual permit.”

Vehicle(s) must be registered online each semester before the enforcement date listed on the entrance to student lots.

Downtown Campus Parking

Whether a student commutes or takes classes online, parking registration is required for the Downtown Campus. A map of the Downtown Campus is available for students to refer to so they can navigate the campus with ease.

Downton Campus Commuter Parking

Your parking registration will be available online in your MCC parking account within 24 hours after registering for classes. The vehicle’s license plate number and completion of your parking registration will serve as your "virtual permit" with the college.

Apply on-line to register your vehicle(s). All commuter students must register their vehicles(s) online each semester before the enforcement date listed on the entrance to student lots.
