Medical Coverage

Individual health care insurance is provided for members who are not otherwise covered at the time of enrollment or who, by joining the program, lose their previous coverage. Our accident and sickness insurance is a plan especially for corps members. The coverage includes a $180 annual deductible (no deductible for preventive care) and covers the following services:

• physician services for illness or injury;
• hospital room and board;
• emergency room care;
• x-ray and laboratory costs;
• prescription drugs;
• mental health conditions; and
• substance abuse.

Many of our members qualify for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act, or ACA at no cost.
