Writing Intensive (WR) Degree Option
The Writing Intensive Option is an educational enrichment opportunity available to
students in all programs. To participate a student must select and complete with a
"B" average 30 credits of courses designated WR. Students meet this requirement by
choosing two to three WR courses from the master schedule each semester. Graduates
receive a recognition seal on their diplomas and the writing-intensive designation
on their transcripts. Such a designation will enhance the MCC degree and increase
the student's options for both transfer and employment.
