Career counselors are available to meet individually with Monroe Community College students about any aspect of the career development process, from identifying an academic area of interest to engaging in the job search process. Students can schedule in-person appointments or stop by to meet with a counselor during walk-in hours. Virtual appointments and virtual drop-in hours are also available.
Vault (powered by Firsthand) is a Career Research Library. It provides in-depth information on a wide range of careers, industries, and professions. It offers advice on resumes, cover letters, interviews, and networking. It also has current job and internship listings, company profiles, interview tips, and more.
What Can I Do With This Major? is a website featuring 106 major profiles with information on common career paths, types of employers that hire in the field, and strategies to maximize opportunities. Links to professional associations, occupational outlook information, and job search resources are included.
