Monroe Community College and the Housing & Residence Life Office are pleased to offer you the opportunity to live on campus in our state-of-the-art residence halls. The residence halls operate under the MCC Association, Inc., a non-for-profit organization that provides the necessary financial and management support for many student programs and services.

Important Dates

Mark these dates on your calendar and be prepared for an amazing start to your academic journey. Further instructions, room assignments and move-in information will be sent directly to your MCC student email.

Fall 2026

  • August 7, 2026 - 12-Month ONLY Move-In
  • August 27, 2026 - New Resident Move-In
  • August 28, 2026 - Returning Resident Move-In
  • November 25 through November 29, 2026* - Thanksgiving Break
    • Residence Halls close at 10:00 am on November 25, and re-open on Sunday, November 29 at 10:00am
  • December 18, 2026 through to January 24, 2027* - December Break
    • Residence Halls close at 10:00am on Friday, December 18, and re-open for the spring semester on Sunday, January 24 at 10:00am
    • ALL Residents must vacate unless participating in 12 Month Housing. Pay-to-Stay not available between December 18 through January 4.
  • January 4 through January 24, 2027 - Intersession
    • Residents approved for January Intersession may return on Monday, January 4 at 10:00am

Spring 2027

  • January 22, 2027 - New Spring Resident Move-In - 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
  • January 24, 2027 - Returning Residents from the Fall move back in
  • February 12 through February 21, 2027* - February Recess
    • Residence Halls close at 10:00am on Friday, February 12 and re-open on Sunday, February 21 at 10:00am
  • March 19 through March 28, 2027* - Spring Break
    • Residence Halls close at 10:00am on Friday, March 19 and re-open on Sunday, March 28 at 10:00am
  • May 27 to May 21, 2027* - End of Semester Move-Out
    • All residents must leave within 24 hours of their last final and schedule a time to check-out with their RA.
  • May 21, 2027 by 10:00am* - End of Year Closing
    • Residence Halls close for the semester and residents must be moved out of their spaces by 10:00am on Friday, May 21.

* Residents must depart for breaks unless participating in 12-Month Housing or Pay-to-Stay. For classes, final examinations, or graduation that occur after a scheduled break closing, residents may request an extension or late departure by emailing MCC Housing & Residence Life (ResidenceHalls@monroecc.edu).
