PHO-182: Photographic Explorations

Course Description
This course is designed for students who want to study photography in a cross-cultural setting. The majority of course work is completed on-location in the host country depending upon the title and focus of the course for a given semester. Students will connect their specific field of study with a chosen theme that relates to the culture, landscape, history and/or mythology of the host country. The course will have a sub-title attached to it for any given semester that identifies the host country and theme. Permission of instructor is required. Additional fees will apply for travel, lodging, food, and other location-based expenses. The course is open to all students. Photography experience is not necessary. * Each student needs a digital manually-adjustable camera.Permission of the instructor is required
