MUS-131

Studio Production

Designed to give the students practical experience in recording live music using digital multi-track recorders. The students will understand the use of microphones, mixers, multi-effects units and MIDI (Musical Instruments Digitally Interfaced) applications. Students will be given an overview of how past, present and future technological changes in the music industry impact recording techniques. Three class hours. MUS 129 is strongly recommended.
