PHY-141

Radiographic Physics

An introductory course in electricity, magnetism, and radiation physics, stressing the basic principles underlying the operation of x-ray equipment and auxiliary devices. Topics will include AC and DC circuits, electromagnetism, electronics, production and detection of x-rays, and x-ray machine circuitry. Spring semester only. Two class hours, two laboratory hours.
