ESL-201

English for Speakers of Other Languages-Advance II: Reading/Writing-WR

This course emphasizes the continuing development of reading and writing through the process approach. It includes informal writing, paraphrasing, summarizing, as well as essay writing. Students will focus on revising their writing and editing for correctness. Three class hours, Two lab hours.

Prerequisites

Score of 65-72 on CELSA placement test; or ESL 140 and ESL 145, each with a grade of C or better; or ESL 145 only with a grade of C or better for students with a score of 58-64 on CELSA placement test; or permission of program coordinator.
