A History of Graphic Design

Through lectures, videotapes, discussions, research and studio projects, students are introduced to the creative thinkers, important innovations and breakthrough technologies that have shaped the evolution of visual communication. This course will include discussion of the social, political and economic factors that have influenced art and design through the ages.
