ESL-158

English for Speakers of Other Languages: Oral Communication

This course promotes effective communication in social and academic settings. Students will improve listening skills and oral fluency through discussion, role play, interviews, oral presentations, and aural activities using various media. Pre-Requisites: Score of 54 or higher on CELSA placement test; or ESL 100 and ESL 120 each with a grade of C or better; or ESL 126 with a grade of C or better; or permission of program coordinator. Three class hours.
