MTH-260: Probability and Statistics I

Course Description
A calculus-based course in probability and statistics. Topics include probability axioms, discrete and continuous random variables and their probability distributions, multivariate probability distributions, functions of random variables, and the Central Limit Theorem. A statistical software package such as Minitab or R will be used.
Prerequisites
MTH 212 with a grade of C or higher OR MTH 211 AND MTH 220 each with a grade of C or higher. 3 credits
