COS-181: Strategies for Academic Progress

Course Description

COS 181 is an academic recovery course designed for students who are striving to achieve Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and to advance in their program of study. Students will use self-assessment, reflection, self-management practices, and research to analyze their past academic success. Course topics include essentials for learning, such as life balance, learning theory, mindset, college resources, and motivational theory. Students will research topics based on their personal academic journey to create an individualized college success plan. This course is for students on academic warning, academic restriction, or academic probation. Consult with your advisor and financial aid about eligibility.
