Former MCC guidance counselor 'may be the greatest high school player ever to come out of Rochester'

A recent article in Yahoo Sports, Al Butler may be the greatest high school player ever to come out of Rochester, highlights  the career of Al Butler, who following his playing days served as guidance counselor at MCC for 28 years. Following his passing in 2000, a scholarship in his name was established at MCC. The Elbert “Al” Butler Scholarship is presented annually to one player each on MCC's men’s and women’s basketball teams. It will be handed out this year before the men's basketball game (approximately 5:00 p.m.) , Today-Thursday, Jan. 11.
