Culinary Arts A.A.S Degree Program Awarded ACF Accreditation
The Hospitality Department recently completed the extensive accreditation process for the Culinary Arts A.A.S degree program. The Culinary Arts program has been granted 3-year program accreditation from the American Culinary Federation (ACF). The American Culinary Federation is the largest professional chefs’ organization in North America and represents the standard of excellence for chefs. The ACF operates the most comprehensive culinary certification program in the world.
Through this new program accreditation and being identified as an ACFEF accredited post-secondary school, graduates of the Monroe Community College Culinary Arts A.A.S degree program are eligible to receive a Certified Culinarian® (CC®) certification from the American Culinary Federation upon graduation.
Congratulations to all faculty/staff in the Hospitality department for their extensive work towards this incredible accomplishment, and future chefs of the Culinary Arts A.A.S degree program.
