TV Report Focuses on Proposal to Train Future Workers in Skilled Trades, Health Care


13WHAM News aired a segment on the Multiple Pathways to Middle Skills Jobs project, identified as a priority by the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council for state funding. MCC plays a major role in the project.

Reporter Jane Flasch interviewed President Kress about the significance of the project, the demand for skilled workers and the skills needed to succeed in manufacturing. Jane also spoke with two machining students, Ronald Ackerman and Nelson Clark, about their experiences at the Applied Technologies Center and the paths that led them to MCC.

The segment aired Wednesday (Sept. 5) during its 6 p.m. broadcast.
