Kudos to the Visual and Performing Arts Department and their Interior Design students, for the outstanding work they did creating new design plans for Reflections restaurant.
As part of a cross- departmental project, the IDE 203 Interior Design IV students created five different concepts that would modernize the restaurant in décor, while also creating space that is multipurpose and more functional. After interviewing the Hospitality faculty and staff, design students went to work to produce truly professional plans that met the department’s requests. New designs included such things as, “patio-style” seating, take-out service windows, a bakery case, totally new décor and even new names for the restaurant.
Students involved in this project are listed below and we invite the entire College community to check out their presentations on the M drive at: M/Courses/HSP/VAPA Redesigns for Reflections.
Many thanks again to the VAPA and Hospitality faculty and all of these students for providing us with some exciting new ideas for our restaurant!
