TCC: Applications due for Summer Funding
In an effort to support reflective practice in teaching, the college supports short-term faculty innovation projects through summer Instructional Development Stipends (IDS). These summer stipends are awarded to faculty to make a concrete change in a course that solves an identified problem. Funding is limited and typically ranges from $500 to $1500.
Virtual Campus Summer Institute (VCSI) summer stipends are awarded to faculty to make an overhaul to their fully online course using the OSCQR (Open SUNY Course Quality Review) rubric during the summer. Revisions will occur over the summer with completion by August 15, 2018. Funding is limited to the first 15 applicants and is $500 per course.
IDS and VCSI applications are due April 27. Attached please find an overview of the IDS application process.
