News10 NBC and WXXI News were among the news media that covered MCC’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration on Feb. 14. Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren, who served as keynote speaker, spoke to nearly 300 attendees about bringing unity to our community. She spoke of our community’s struggles with poverty and violence, and called on all present to embrace opportunities to serve as role models for young people who have not yet chosen education as their pathway.
