MCC women's soccer player Veronica Santiago and men's soccer player Moses Watkis were named the MCC Athletes of the Week.
Santiago helped lead the Lady Tribunes to a pair of victories last week. The freshman had three goals and one assist in a 6-1 win over Genesee CC and added two goals and one assist in a 4-0 victory over Mercyhurst NE. She has eight goals and four assists for second-ranked Monroe (6-0).
Watkis continued his impressive start to the season. The freshman forward had two goals and an assist in a 4-0 win over Genesee CC and added another goal in a 3-1 loss to No. 3 Mercer County CC. He leads the Tribunes (2-1-1) with six goals.
