Degree Works Upgrade - Changes to Look For

On January 3rd, we successfully upgraded Degree Works production to version 5.1.0.  Here are a few improvements I want everyone to know about:

  1. Campus code is back on Courselink.  This means that when you click on a class in Degree Works to view upcoming sections, there will be a column that displays campus code (i.e. BC, SLN, RMT).
  2. Defects in the GPA calculators were fixed, so the GPA calculators should work correctly now
  3. Some (not all) defects in SEP were fixed.  The most visible fix is that the course disciplines in the search bars now only show disciplines with active courses. 
  4. Audit logic defects were fixed and I made some adjustments to LA04 which should now be placing requirements better and no longer allowing a course to fill multiple rules.  I have done testing on this but please be aware and on the lookout for issues! You might need to refresh and process new to load a new audit to see the changes.
