The Career and Transfer Center’s Christian Kull and Rebecca Mack recently presented at the American College Personnel Association’s (ACPA) Annual Convention in Baltimore, Maryland, March 26 - 30, 2011. As part of ACPA’s Community College Institute the presentation focused on removing the obstacles community college students encounter in the transfer process, promoting successful transfer to four-year colleges and universities, and the many benefits this diverse group of students brings to the bachelor degree granting institution. The presentation also highlighted examples of MCC’s Career and Transfer Center’s existing partnerships and programs designed to promote transfer success.
