National Register to Vote Day + Snack & Chat

  • Wednesday, September 20th, 11am to 1pm, Brighton Campus Center Terrace
  • Stop by Student Government Association’s table to grab a snack, chat with the SGA officer team, and register to vote!

Saul Flores- “The Walk of Immigrants” Keynote

  • Wednesday, September 20th, 12 to 1pm, Brighton Campus Forum 3-130
  • Campus Activities Board presents keynote Saul Flores in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month. Saul spent three months walking, hitchhiking, and sleeping on the ground and in hiding places. His journey began in Ecuador and ended in Charlotte, North Carolina. In three months, he walked 5,328 miles through ten countries and nine border crossings to document how grueling and dangerous the journey of immigrants to the United States can be and to raise money for an elementary school in Atencingo, Mexico.

Paper Plane Competition

  • Come join the Engineering Leadership Council for a Paper Plane Competition. Show off your paper plane making skills and see how far you plane goes!
