Passing of Daniel Cory, Adjunct Professor at MCC's Applied Technologies Center

It is with sadness that I inform the College community of the passing of Daniel Cory, adjunct professor at MCC’s Applied Technologies Center.

Daniel began teaching at MCC in 2014. Kevin French, Applied Technologies Chair said, “Dan often commented how he felt he had missed his calling as he really enjoyed teaching and was passionate about it. He will be terribly missed by his work family here at MCC.”

Dan is survived by his wife, Susan Cory (Menga).  His mother, Jane Cory, is currently living at Heather Heights Assisted Living in Pittsford.  He is also survived by many other relatives and close friends who are family. See his full obituary for more details.

A celebration of Dan’s life. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter’s Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy, NY on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM.  Following the mass, the family invites you to join them at Alleyway, 3154 State Street, Caledonia, NY,

The Applied Technologies Center is accepting donations to make an honorary donation to the Daniel Cory Scholarship fund.
