MCC Professors to read for Writers & Books' Rochester Reads Book Festival

As part of Writers & Books' Rochester Reads Book Festival, three MCC Professors: Maria Brandt, Angelique Stevens, and Elizabeth Johnston Ambrose, will read their work October 28th along with the fourth member of their Straw Mat writer’s group, Jennifer Kircher 

  • What: Straw Mat Writers Read 
  • When: October 28th from 1:00 to 1:50 
  • Where: SUNY Brockport’s Main Stage Downtown, 161 Chestnut Street  

Rochester Reads Book Festival will run from 10 am to 5 pm. Browse indie bookstores and small press publishers’ tables and acquaint yourself with area cultural resources.  Enjoy pop-up events, author signings, panels, and multigenerational readings and performances. This is an in-person event. The cost is free to attend; show up or, if you prefer, reserve your tickets ahead of time on the Writers & Books webpage.
